The EQ Room is a beautiful purpose built home studio with Hot Tub, where I practice in Hot & Cold Stone Therapy, Natural Lift/Rejuvenating Facial Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Swedish Massage.
The EQ experience is quite unique and simply does not compare to a spa day with one of our larger competitors. When you visit The EQ Room, you have the whole place to yourself to enjoy, so there is no need to feel body conscious or concerned about who you might bump into. You really can escape the stresses and strains of everyday life to completely relax and enjoy a treatment like never before.
My name is Louise Homewood, owner/proprietor at The EQ Room. I am a fully qualified, experienced and insured Therapist. I first studied Swedish massage in 2007, with no intentions of making it a career at the time. I was merely looking to exercise the old grey cells and to give my confidence a boost after a 6 year career break to have children. It turns out this is what I should have been doing all along. I haven’t looked back and have gradually been adding further qualifications to my repertoire and have been delighted at how my business has grown so rapidly over the last few years.
I believe strongly that massage should be more than just an occasional treat. The benefits are so great and so many, that it really should be a way of life, forming part of a more balanced lifestyle, to restore your equilibrium. The Pressures of modern day society finds us constantly rushing to fulfil our endless obligations. It’s all too easy to forget about our own needs or to feel guilty about allowing ourselves a little time out on occasion. |
